allied arts guild wedding
I first met the lovely Rebecca when she was bridesmaid for Amy, back in 2019. After a delay due to the pandemic, she married Chris at the Allied Arts Guild on a beautiful sunny day in June.
When I entered the hotel room the morning of the wedding, it was a hive of activity. Rebecca’s adorable sisters were floating around in their matching llama pajamas and slippers. The talented Carlie was putting the final touches to the make up and someone had sent out for boba. I was so excited to see the lovely Amy again, bridesmaid for the day, radiating happiness as a new mother.
Allied Arts Guild is a beautiful and tranquil garden oasis. It's filled with splashing water fountains, wrought-iron details, colorful frescos and intricate tilework. This serene oasis is a historic landmark that was once part of an original Spanish land grant. Allied Arts Guild is so hidden, you’d never know that it’s located here. It is the most perfect venue for an intimate wedding.
After the most romantic first look by the circular fountain garden, we had to take some time to do some touch ups to make up before the ceremony. It was an emotional first look, with private vows and an ‘it’s really happening’ vibe.
They had a beautiful ceremony under the floral decked arch which they made themselves,. We spent a short time after doing formal photos so they could enjoy the rest of their cocktail hour.
It was a day filled with so much love and joy I felt incredibly privileged to be part of it. Everyone was there, against the odds. A lovely reminder to embrace every chance we get to celebrate with those we love.
Many thanks to the following vendors who made it all possible:
