A list of my favorites.
Wedding boots for cool brides
Featuring my beautiful white lightning boots.
Wedding boots are the best alternative to heels, especially if you’re a bit like Bambi on ice. I wore these gorgeous white boots for my wedding – check out the gold lightning bolts. Although I can walk in heels (in fact I can run in them), I wanted a pair of boots to go with my minidress. The fact these had the lightning bolts on, a la Bowie, made me fall head over heels in love.

You can find them here, from Modern Vice. They also come in a stunning blush color, which I keep adding to my cart then removing!
Don’t fret about not having an opportunity to wear them after your wedding day. Mine are the perfect accessory to every outfit, and I wear them at every opportunity. Here I am below, the only time I’ve ever been a wedding guest!

Shoes are often the next step in your wedding day look after saying yes to the dress, jumpsuit, or pantsuit. Classic heels, pumps, flats and even sneakers are popular choices for your wedding day feet. But what if you’re just not that person?
Wedding boots are the perfect alternative choice. Cowboy boots, romantic booties and bling are all solid options for a shoe alternative.
Bridal boots complement all kinds of wedding attire. Gone are the days of needing to match your gown to your footwear. I love mixing it up, and think a pair of purple Dr Martens is the perfect choice of footwear for that vintage Oscar de la Renta dress you’ve been eyeing up.
Not wearing a dress? There are some gorgeous short boots that would look killer with a jumpsuit or with bridal separates. Hey, even if you get married in a bikini on the beach, you’ve got to put SOMETHING on your feet. May as well be those divine boots from Jimmy Choo. I would personally get married again just to wear them!

You don’t even need to wear ‘wedding’ boots, or even matching white ones. I’m a big fan of matching a vintage gown with a pair of Doctor Martens‘ boots.

Or how about this studded pair from Jeffrey Campbell?

For the romantics, these Bella Belle peep toe flower embroidered wedding booties are adorned with a delicate mix of silk and tulle petals.

Glam Boots and booties
I need these Jimmy Choo boots in my life, and I’ll happily have a second wedding to do so. From their website:
“Glamorous and eye-catching, our ORIEL boots are crafted in Italy from latte soft patent. Every pointed-toe pair features a standout accessory composed by three silver crystal-encrusted metal stars and tassel chains made by eight rows of crystals. Slip on and stand out.”
Yes please.

Don’t want white? These embellished Badgley Mischka crystal embellished lace booties are sure to never leave your feet:

And how about these devastatingly beautiful studded black numbers from Jeffrey Campbell:

Oh, Lulus. I love you. They have so many gorgeous options you could even grab a pair for the rehearsal dinner too.

And they have a stunning blue pair, if you’re still looking for ‘something blue’:
.

Speaking of colored boots, my bride Sammi chose this stunning pair of Victorian lace-up boots to match her vintage dress from the 80s. Check out Oak Tree Farms to see more.

I hope you’ve found some inspiration from this list!
